First impression? Skeptical. The box looked like it had been kicked around a cargo ship on its way from China. Seeing that the heat is provided by quartz lamps, I thought for sure they’d be broken. At least one works because it does put out heat.Assembly was easy. It might be a bit too tall for me as assembled, but it shows you how to make it shorter by removing a fixed length section. I’ll use with chairs, and I’m not sure the heat output is enough to be effective at a long distance.There’s no fan that I can see, so the heat output is just what you get.It also looks like it may be used and not new. The underside of the base looks henky, but maybe that’s just the type of rubber. The side was either scratched in shipping (I don’t think it was) or was scratched before I put it in the box.I’ll update later once I’ve had a chance to spend an evening with it on the patio.
