The first product I received had a large dent in the side and that side of the toaster didn’t work. The outer box was undamaged, so the toaster was packaged that way at the factory. Thankfully, kitchenappliances.us.com did a quick replacement. This is very lightweight, which is appreciated since I put it away between uses. The controls are intuitive and easy. I especially like the countdown timer. The “Defrost” feature adds 20 seconds to the time, which is helpful because I store my bread in the freezer. The “Warm” feature is a 30 second cycle. I’m not sure how often you’d need that feature; I was hoping that it would help soften stale bread, and it does a little bit, but that probably needs a little longer time. This is a really nice toaster in a lot of ways, but there is a noticeable difference in the darkness of each side. Not egregiously so, but it’s a consistent difference. Using the single slice setting seems to make it worse. It’s not enough keep me from recommending this toaster, though.
