The household has been using this Mecity 4 Slice Toaster for over 2 months with zero issues. Frozen waffle no problem, bagel no problem, thick sourdough slice it accommodates. It does not accommodate long slices, neither did my previous toaster, so there’s that. When I first set this toaster up the touch screen was blinking on the default setting, I think white bread and light toasting. I thought no way is that going to fly sitting there blinking day and night. Well, no it won’t, all you do is hold/touch the *cancel* icon for 3 seconds and it turns the touch screen off. Voila’ The touch screen pictures and words are large enough to be user friendly which I appreciate. Also, the touch screen is easy to wipe clean, a nice plus. Of note: There are two crumb drawers you access from the back of the toaster. They are shallow so regular crumb dumping is a good idea. A big plus is there are no surprises once you find the settings you like, same time each time. No letdown because someone adjusted it for their bagel and you didn’t notice. Can’t happen. Happy with the quality, functionality and it looks good.
