I’ve got a kid who loves three waffles for breakfast so getting a four slice was necessary. I ran into problems when I started noticing that the right side undercooks for some reason so I have to set that side at the highest setting (6) to match it with how the left side cooks at setting 5. This morning it went nuclear on the middle of the waffle. It’s never done that before so I’m assuming I need to bring it back down to 5 because overcooked is inedible. Predicting that other toasters will have these issues is unfair in my book, but I saw the 70% 5-star ratings which filled me with confidence that I was getting a reasonably liked product. Had I not thrown out the box I would be returning this and seeking a different brand. Side Story: The reason I just don’t send it back is kitchenappliances.us.com issued us a full refund for the order. The problem is, we hadn’t asked for one. It was some kinda glitch in the system. So after making all that effort to be an honest customer and have them refund their refund I swear that’s when this toaster really started acting up, but I had thrown out the box so now I’m stuck with it. I figure mentioning my issue may help others avoid the issues I’m having.
