Have cooked turkey twice in it. I was unimpressed both times( didn’t brown well). I think using the reynolds roasterbag and regular oven is better for turkey. My wife wanted it so she could cook turkey in it and have the other two ovens for casseroles, sides and pies. This thing takes up a lot of room. Since we didn’t have a place to put it, my wife bought a steel rolling cart to put it on. Then we needed to buy a huge cutting board to act as shelf to set the roaster on because the feet are so small the roaster doesn’t sit right on steel shelf by itself. Due to buying the roaster, now had to spend way, way, way more to buy a cart and something to put on top of cart so roaster sits right. If you do a lot of cooking involving large roasts, hams, turkeys etc. It does free up oven for cooking other items. Also with time and practice I think we will get better at using it. Side benefit it looks good with the Lecrueset and knockoffs that we now have room for.
